SiteMonitor Enterprise can be installed on any Windows OS from Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 onwards.
SiteMonitor Enterprise runs as a system service thus the machine does not necessarily need to be logged by a user in for the monitoring to work.

SiteMonitor Enterprise web portal by default listens on port 9051, thus this port needs to be free and not used by other applications. Internet access should be available for the server to check the hosts in case of monitoring of public websites/hosts. It is also possible to migrate the web interface from the built in server to IIS.
